An ignorant person is easily incited to destructive activities but, when called upon to perform constructive work, he remains impassive, as if he has not even heard the call.
For a believer, if everything goes according to plan, a feeling of thanksgiving is aroused in him, but should his plans go awry, he realizes that man can only propose; it is God who disposes. In this way he comes closer to the Lord.
One has attained a superior moral status when one becomes indifferent to praise or blame, and, when, his opinion of others does not depend upon whether they agree or disagree with him.
