Desiring a life based on one’s greed. Satisfaction of greed is hardly achievable for all and sundry, even for the wealthy and the politically powerful. Then one will remain unhappy.

Living a life being content with the fulfilling of one’s immediate needs. The meeting of needs is achievable for most people. 

Contentment at the level of the mind. Unlike material happiness which is not achievable as it does not exist, intellectual happiness—contentment at the level of the mind—is achievable.

A cogwheel is a toothed wheel that works with another cogwheel to facilitate movement. Likewise life runs with the help of two cog wheels: one is yours and the other is natures. For life to move on unhindered we have to align our cogwheel with that of natures.
