We tend to lose whatever is second best on account of just one reason, and that is, our futile pursuit of the very best.
Try, try by all means to achieve the very best, but when you feel that you can only get the second best then accept it gracefully.
When you suspect another person of some wrongdoing and you have no irrefutable evidence in support of your suspicion, then you are committing falsehood. In other words, you are telling a lie.
Being patient does not mean not taking any action. It means planning your strategy, assessing your resources and taking into consideration the relevant natural factors.
