When one is prejudiced against something, one cannot see its rationality, even if there are clear signs in support of it.

People are quick to support anything which improves their own position, or at least does not downgrade them in any way. But when something appears threatening to their position, they oppose it, regardless of its intrinsic worth.

It is important to make preparations. Only after long years of hard struggle and perseverance is it possible for one to play this part successfully.

Everything needs some price. People generally want things without paying the price.
