In the ancient age, sword was considered the greatest power. In those times, the saying went, 'Might is right.' Then God brought about an end to the age in which sword was the deciding factor. In the age of kingship and the tribal age, people used swords to set things right. This was an age of sword. After the coming of the Prophet of Islam, God brought about a new revolution in history. This revolution did not come suddenly, rather it unfolded in the form of a process. The coming of the Prophet signalled the end of an age and the beginning of a new age. The age of sword came to an end, and the age of ideology or the age of peace dawned. In this new age, the deciding factor is not the sword but peaceful activism.
