According to a hadith, God has said that if He puts a person in difficulty and he remains patient, then God changes the person's flesh with better flesh and his blood with better blood. This is symbolic language. It means that if a person remains patient over the adverse situations he faces, then he develops a new spirit. For example, if someone throws dirt at you but you return good words, then you will find that this behaviour of yours will fill you with peace and tranquillity. On the contrary, if you fight with the person who throws dirt at you, then you will not be able to have a sound sleep. This is the meaning of the above hadith. That is, when God puts you in difficulties, He gives you the opportunity to become from man to superman. In other words, you become a better person. Going through such situations lead to the development of noble virtues and high spirituality. Patience leads to peace of mind, while impatience brings tension and leads to a disturbed mind.
