The very first verse of the Quran says: "All praise belongs to God, the Lord of the Worlds." These words have no relation to an external system, rather they are meant for an individual human being. A person engages in contemplation, reflection and study. After going through this process, he discovers that this universe has been made by a Creator. For example, today I was thinking about this verse of the Quran: "It was God who raised the heavens with no visible supports." (13:2) The buildings we make stand on pillars, but the world made by God -- the galaxies, solar system and innumerable planets -- needs no such pillars. The celestial bodies are revolving in space without any pillars for support. This thought leads one to realize the majesty and glory of God.
