People's general habit is that if they are compelled to leave their homeland or if they are inflicted with atrocities, they would recount these events at the place where they relocate in order to acquire the sympathy of the people there. But the Prophet did not relate stories of atrocities when he migrated from Mecca to Medina. In his first address at Medina, the Prophet said: 'O people, save yourself from Hellfire!' This was the prophetic method. The Prophet was able to live beyond the unpleasantness he faced from others; he could save himself from negative thinking; he was a positive thinker. Negative events would not cause the Prophet to lose his positivity. The Prophet never made mention of the atrocities inflicted by his Meccan opponents. He only tried to convey and preach the positive message of God to people.
