Greatest Sacrifice

It is a fact that acknowledgment of truth is the greatest form of worship. It is an act for which man has to make the greatest sacrifice. What makes it such a great sacrifice is that it involves setting aside of one’s prestige.

Proving Oneself

When a person suffers a loss, he should not consider himself a failure and a deprived person; he should not lose hope and courage and begin uttering endless complaints. Rather, he must prove his courage, and, bearing the burden of adversity, retain his mental balance.

Restraint in Adversity

Patience is the exercise of restraint in trying situations. It is a virtue, which enables the individual to proceed towards worthy goals, undeflected by adverse circumstances or repeated provocations.

Simplicity

One who has acquired the taste for the meaning of the divine reality, can have no taste for outward and material things. Such a person relishes simplicity. In his eyes, pretensions lose their attraction. His soul finds peace in the natural thing.

Freedom of Expression

Freedom is everyone’s birth right; so, no one can abolish anyone’s freedom. If you disagree with the point of view of your fellow beings, you can express your views in a rational manner. You must try to address their minds.

The Spiritual

One who is spiritually inclined, resorts constantly to his inner mental life — something which no one can take away from him. Such a man possesses inner contentment and is far above all material gain and loss.

Introspection

One who has learned the art of moral introspection is a person of inviolable integrity. Introspection awakens the human mind, jolts the human personality, and helps one to reform oneself. Introspection, thus, leads one to intellectual and spiritual development.

Peaceful Action

While one short emotional outburst is all that is needed for violence to be indulged in, a peaceful action requires serious thought and strong justification.

Agree to Disagree

Some disagreement are inevitable between two parties or individuals. But there must be some areas of agreement. The only way to prosper and progress is, to ignore the matters that divide one from others, and concentrate on cultivating areas of mutual concern.
