Extremism

Audio

A person asked me that there are many sects and groups among Muslims. Each considers itself as being right. Whom should an ordinary Muslim follow? According to me, it is not an evil to consider oneself as being right. However, it is an evil to consider that a person who believes in a viewpoint different from mine would go to hell, unless he agrees with me. This is extremism. No person has the right to believe that he is entitled to Paradise while others would be consigned to hell. Prevalence of difference is not evil, but to regard yourself as being solely right and others as wrong is extremism. One should be cautious about such extremist  tendencies.
