According to the Quran, it is a sign of bad character to have double standards. Two verses of the chapter entitled Al-Saff (Ranks) are of relevance: "O faithful! Why do you say one thing and do another? It is most hateful to God that you do not practise what you preach" (61: 2-3).

If you go through the Quran in quest of its main message — or the crux of the scriptures — you will certainly discover an important point on which the Quran lays great emphasis, that is, its concept of flah. Flah means success. According to the Quran, the truly successful are those and only those who are destined to find success in the hereafter.
