There are many parts of the Quran which, on the surface, appear to be mere assertions, there being no evidence to support them. But the fact is that these statements are their own proof, for the language in which they are couched is superhuman. It is God alone – and no other – who is able to utter such words.

The most important fact that we must grasp about this world is that it was fashioned by One Maker – other than whom there is no greater being. The words, ‘‘Allahu akbar” (God is Great) which Muslims say repeatedly in their daily prayers, bear witness to God’s greatness – the most momentous reality of the entire universe.
