The present world is a world of differences. A reformer has rightly said that nature abhors uniformity. This means that difference is a part of nature. Difference is there in every aspect of life. Who has the power to remove differences? We have to learn the art of difference management rather than the art of difference elimination.
According to divine law the relationship between man and woman was set up on the principle of the division of labor, i.e. it is the responsibility of the man to carry out tasks outside the home, while the woman takes charge of tasks within the home.
The conviction that one’s goals are worthwhile, the observation of discipline with no contradiction between words and thoughts, cool thinking, even in times of crisis—all these are qualities which determine success, and obviate failure in the wider field of life.
In Islam, war is not the prerogative of the individual but of an established government. Only an established government can declare war. Only when a war is declared by the ruling government, can the public join in and support it, and not before that. Islam does not sanction individual actions on this issue.
