The positive aspect of emotionalism is that it tends to make one more sensitive, and therefore more gentle and compassionate, which is, without doubt, a positive quality. But the negative aspect is that it can give one an obstinate personality, thus making one stubborn even when flexible approach is necessary. If one allows this aspect of their nature to go unchecked, it will be detrimental to the wholesome development of one’s personality.
