The most effective way to increase income is to reduce expenditure. Instead of worrying how to increase earnings, we should cut down on our expenses to match our means.
If we are resolute against distraction and spend our time and energy in a constructive manner, we can be convinced of success. Often we lack the wholehearted effort and perseverance which makes us unsure about our success.
We are often overwhelmed with our share of sorrows and miseries, failing to realize that everyone around us is immersed in a similar plight. We accentuate negativity when we overlook the other person's suffering.
The spirit for learning in man should be so great that he should learn from every individual around him. Words and behaviours which affect us in a negative manner must provide us with positive lessons. Thus we can develop the capability to learn from every instance in our life.
Nature wants to unfold one’s inner qualities. And there is no other way except what may be termed as “shock treatment”. So inadequacies are like shock treatment, meant to unfold a person’s inner treasure.
To successfully perform any action, one needs to have prior knowledge. Without proper insight one often becomes a failure and blames circumstances and other individuals for the disastrous outcome.
A person who blames others would realize upon thinking that the mistake was his own. It is unreal to believe that in any matter all the mistake is of the other person.
It is the conscience which makes man feel repentant, soon after he makes a mistake. Man should admit his mistake instantly so that his conscience stays alive. Otherwise, his sense of repentance would gradually begin to diminish until it fades away.
When a person provokes us and we grow angry, we release a great amount of energy. On directing this energy towards the negative, we will develop feelings of revenge and hatred. But, if we direct it towards the positive, we will grow intellectually.
