We must differentiate between the necessary and the unnecessary. We must never amass such commodities as will bring with them new problems and new complications. We must learn to live in contentment.
A diary is the most effective form of introspection and self-analysis. All novel ideas, creative thoughts and reflections which we gather from various sources must be scripted in a diary.
Man can fulfill his needs for survival, but his limitless desires can never be satisfied. Those who lead a life based on needs and not desires, are bound to be peaceful and stress-free.

A principle of life is to maintain silence and speak only when it is necessary to voice an opinion.
We must never repeat or spread any information unless we are convinced of its authenticity. We must maintain silence and investigate the truth of the matter in hand before deciding to publicize it.
When a relationship fails to work, it is due to shortcomings in both the partners. But we tend to become critical of the other person – his actions, behaviour, attitude– and overlook our own shortcomings.
Our needs are always limited, but our desires are boundless. Desires need to be consciously controlled and should not be our primary goal. If we keep pursuing our desires, we will be forever dissatisfied and robbed of peace.
Man must target to become a giver member of the society and not merely a taker member. While achieving his own interests, his actions must prove to be beneficial for other members of the society as well.
