Islam and Peace

In this world, for one reason or the other, peace remains elusive. Differences, may they be political or apolitical, keep on arising between individuals and groups due to which peace can never prevail. In the book entitled Islam and Peace, Maulana Wahiduddin Khan highlights the role that Islam can play in maintaining peace. The book explains that whenever individuals, groups or communities are faced with a problem, one way to solve it is by resorting to violence. The better way is to attempt to solve the problem by peaceful means, avoiding violence and confrontation.

The Quran for All Humanity

In the book Quran for All Humanity, Maulana Wahiduddin Khan has selected verses from the Quran, given their explanation, followed by short moral messages. Drawing from his rich experience and deep knowledge of Islamic theology, he has presented his message in a lucid, interesting and thought-provoking manner. The book is sure to help a person to strengthen his belief in the Almighty and help him to lead a life in the moral path leading to his salvation. It is an ideal book for daily contemplation.

The Quran: An Abiding Wonder

The Quran is the Book of God. It has been preserved in its entirety for all time to come. In the present book, The Quran: An Abiding Wonder, Maulana Wahiduddin Khan, briefly discusses two aspects of the Quran: firstly, its being in itself a proof that it is the Book of God; secondly its complete preservation in its original form, as revealed to the Arab Prophet Muhammad in the seventh century Hijrah. The perfect state of preservation singles out the Quran from its predecessors as a unique vehicle for divine guidance and salvation.

The Call of the Quran

In the book, The Call of the Quran, Maulana Wahiduddin Khan explains that it is the duty of every Muslim man, woman and child to study the Quran and follow it. He further explains that it is also the responsibility of the Muslims to convey the message of the Quran to other nations. Therefore, the Quran urges the Muslims time and again to carry out this task: ‘strive with the utmost strenuousness by means of this (The Quran).’ (The Quran 25: 52) It is a fact that the Muslims' unity is their greatest strength. The best means of achieving this unity is the call towards God.
